Adapter was delivered quite quickly, and from the visual perspective all was fine - except the fact that it does not work at all. Several PS/2 keyboards were tested and none of them works with this adapter. Another adapter is ok at the same device, so it is not a problem of port or keyboard - the problem is with the adapter for sure.
