Карта был куплена для обновления iMac Early 2008 до более современных стандартов WLAN и Bluetooth. Карта работает исправно даже только с двумя "родными" антенами, подключёнными к J0 (черный провод) и J1 (белый провод), и антеной Bluetooth (синей), подключённой к J3 при помощи короткого удлинительного провода. Установка карты в мак представляет собой нетривиальную задачу, так как отверстие для закрепления карты на маке находится в том же месте, где расположен контакт J2. Для того чтобы закрепить саму карту на адаптере, необходимо иметь доступ к нижней его части, что невозможно если адаптер уже закреплён в гнезде на маке. С другой стороны, если карта уже укреплена в адаптере, то адаптер невозможно закрепить на маке, так как место для прикрутки оказывается закрыто картой.
